I am Shelby,
a long time photography hobbyist turned freelancer. I was given my first camera when I was 10 - one of those glorious Kodak disposables. When the photos came back developed, I was shocked to receive back a stunning sunset shot, and shocked I’d captured it. A new fascination was born. There wasn't a flower or friend within a 10ft radius that didn't get their photo taken. Many years and camera upgrades later, I get to share with you the same joy I had when I was a kid.
Beyond the camera: I am a lover of the great outdoors, a good cappuccino, and am a wannabe career thrifter. I've been around the block living mostly in Colorado, Nepal, and now, I am enjoying the sweet tea and freely given hello’s in Birmingham, Alabama and am soaking it up.
